Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has reappointed Shinzo Nakanishi as managing director and chief executive for another three years.
Nakanishi has held the two positions since December 2007, when he took over from Jagdish Khattar.
In a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company also said that director and managing executive officer for production Tsuneo Ohashi and director and managing executive officer of engineering Keilchi Asai had also been reappointed for three more years in their current positions.
India’s largest car maker earlier this month said it was boosting output to 1.5m units a year.
To do that, it will add a fourth plant by 2013 with an annual output of 250,000 cars.
