Maruti Suzuki India unit sales rose 6.7% to 346,712 vehicles in the fiscal fourth quarter. Exports rose 12.4% to 29,542 units.
Sales revenue rose 12.3% to INR132,726m and net profit soared 60.5% to INR12,842m.
Higher volumes, material cost reductions, favorable foreign exchange and lower sales promotion expenses contributed to the bottom line during the quarter, Maruti, said.
The automaker’s full fiscal year sales rose 11.9% to 1,292,415 units with exports up 20.1% to 121,713 cars.
Revenue rose 14% to INR486,055m and net profit was up 33.4% to INR37,112m.
