Maruti Suzuki plans to launch an investor road show in October to explain its decision to let parent firm Suzuki Motor own the plant being built in Gujarat.

Chairman RC Bhargava said, “We are planning these road shows probably in October and November subject to investors agreeing to dates which are convenient to them and once the road shows are on, the dates of the polling (on Gujarat plant) can also be announced.”

The road shows are planned to take place in India and other countries like the UK and Singapore, ET Auto.com reported citing PTI.

“Our investors are mainly in Hong Kong, Singapore and London and in these road shows the purpose is to clarify to the investors any question any doubts, any issues that they may have about the arrangements which are being made for contract manufacturing of cars in the Gujarat plant,” Bhargava said.
