Production has resumed at utility vehicle maker Mahindra & Mahindra’s Nashik plant in western India after a strike ended on Monday.

An industrial court had ruled last week the tools down strike, which started on 4 May in protest against disciplinary action against a union leader, was unjustified and had ordered it called off, according to Reuters.

The plant, with production capacity of 150,000 vehicles annually, produces M&M’s flagship Scorpio utility vehicle and the Renault Logan sedan.
