The Economic Times of India quoted the joint venture firm as saying the recently-launched Logan had received “a resounding response in the very first month from customers in the 11 cities where the car has been launched so far”.


The paper quoted Mahindra Renault managing director Rajesh Jejurikar as saying: “Logan has delivered much beyond our expectations.”


“We are currently only in 40% of the markets and expect numbers to go up significantly as production and regional launches are ramped up over the next couple of months.”
