Jai Parabolic Springs (JPSL), India’s leading parabolic springs manufacturer, has won two large orders from General Motors and Ford. Shipments from the Chennai factory have begun to GM while those for Ford will commence in November 2005.

JPSL is supplying springs to GM for the new ‘T345 – SUV’, more commonly known as the Hummer’ H3 scheduled on sale next April in the US.

The order from Ford is for its ‘V347/48’ Transit van, to be built in Turkey and the UK.

The GM order is valued at INR250 million (€4.5million) while Ford’s contract is worth INR550 million (€9.8 million).

The company is proud of its involvement in the projects from the ‘black box stage’ and the positive responses from €pean and American OEMs who have recently visited its facilities.
