JPSL is supplying springs to GM for the new ‘T345 – SUV’, more commonly known as the Hummer’ H3 scheduled on sale next April in the US.


The order from Ford is for its ‘V347/48’ Transit van, to be built in Turkey and the UK.


The GM order is valued at INR250 million (€4.5million) while Ford’s contract is worth INR550 million (€9.8 million).


The company is proud of its involvement in the projects from the ‘black box stage’ and the positive responses from €pean and American OEMs who have recently visited its facilities.


JPSL plans exports only to OEMs, accounting for 40% of its sales. In 2003-04 its turnover was INR800 million (€14.3million), and it is aiming for INR1.1billion (€19.6million) this fiscal year and over double that to INR2.5billion (€44.6million) in 2005-06.
