Honda has raised the prices of its vehicles in India after input costs rose and the government axed an import duty concession.
Price rises had been expected following the government decision.
The sticker on the entry level Brio has increased INR15,000 (US$236) – INR18,000 to INR421,000-INR630,000. The Amaze compact sedan will now cost between INR518,000 and INR778,000, reflecting a rise of INR19,000 to INR26,000.
The City prices have risen INR37,000-INR48,000 to INR753,000 to INR 1.15m. and the CR-V was hiked by INR60,000.
The Mobilio price was unchanged, reported India Infoline.
