Ford India plans to export its cars to 50 countries by the end of December, the managing director said.
Ford currently exports its cars to 32 countries, Michael Boneham told Dow Jones Newswires on the sidelines of the annual conference of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers.

Ford India currently makes the Figo hatchback [updated previous generation hatchback], Fiesta [current European model sedan/hatch] and Fiesta Classic [updated previous generation sedan] plus the Endeavour SUV at its factory near Chennai.
Local sales and exports grew 40% during January-August 2011 to 80,332 vehicles.
