Bosch is looking to scale back production at some of it Asian facilities according to a statement released to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

According to a report by Reuters, the auto supplier will shut down select production areas or shops at its Nashik plant for two days at the end of November.

There will also be a temporary stoppage at its Bangalore-based plant for the manufacture of starters and generators around the same time.

In a statement, Bosch told the Bombay stock exchange that the move was being taken in order to adjust production to meet the demand for products and to avoid unnecessary inventory build-up.
