Behr India, a 60:40 JV between Behr Germany and Anand Automotive Systems, has opened its plant at Chakan in Maharashtra’s Pune district today.

The plant will manufacture engine cooling modules, heat exchangers including radiators, charge air coolers and condensers.
Behr Germany and Anand Automotive have already invested US$12m in 2006 and will invest another US$5m, the company said.
