Ashok Leyland, India’s second-biggest truck and bus maker, said on Wednesday, total vehicle sales in October dropped to 3,356 units from 3,993 in the year-ago period.

It a statement released ahead of trading and cited by Reuters, the company said production in the past month totalled 3,109 units compared with 4,078 in the year-ago period.
