Sigma Cast manufacturers automotive castings at its facility near Birmingham and is amongst the world’s largest turbocharger component suppliers.
This deal would be Amtek’s third overseas acquisition, all within last few years. In 2004, Amtek bought 100% of UK based GWK Group and full control of US-based ring gears and flex plates maker New Smith Jones Inc. for INR280million (€5 million).
