Automotive supplier Subros plans a plant in Singur to make air-conditioners for Tata’s new Nano ‘people’s car’, chairman Ramesh Suri has said.

“We have got an LOI (letter of intent) from Tata… we will set up the plant in Singur,” Suri told Reuters during an auto industry conference. He did not disclose any further details.
