The order, for 1,000 new Volvo FH trucks equipped with the new 13-litre engine launched during autumn 2005, will be delivered over a three-year period, beginning this month.


Volvo Trucks started to co-operate with Hungarocamion as early as 1997 and the first order for a 500 trucks was received in 1998. Subsequently, Volvo Trucks has delivered 100 to 150 trucks to the company annually.


A total of 492 vehicles were delivered to Hungary during 2005.
