The drop was due to less working days in April, Geely said in a statement cited by Reuters, adding that sales tended to be sluggish ahead of the Shanghai car show held at the end of April.
Geely reportedly said that its two associates sold a total of 11,060 vehicles in April while, for the first four months, total sales volume at the two units was 40,088 vehicles, achieving 33% of the firm’s full-year sales volume target of 120,000 sales.
This suggested that the two associates are on track to achieve their full-year sales target, Geely said, according to Reuters.
