Grammer says it is in advanced negotiations to establish a joint venture with Changchun Fawsn Group for automotive interior components.

Grammer will hold 50% of the future joint venture, Changchun Grammer Fawsn Vehicle Parts.

The other 50% will be held by Changchun Fawsn Group.

The joint venture will produce a range of automotive interior components, which will be primarily fitted to vehicles produced by FAW Group.

FAW Group is the third largest Chinese OEM and had last year with its own brands and its other joint venture partners a double digit market share in the world’s largest automotive market.

The supplier specialises in development and production of components and systems for automotive interiors as well as suspended driver and passenger seats for on-road and off-road vehicles.
