Jan Utermarck, currently in charge of international coordination of the Volkswagen Group’s parts logistics network, has been named to head CIS/Middle East/Africa sales at VW Passenger Cars from 1 February.

Utermarck succeeds Hans-Heiner Tüting who moved to head marketing, sales and service at VW de México from 1 November.

Utermarck joined VW in 1996, initially taking responsibility for coordinating spare parts distribution projects. He headed operational parts logistics at the master depot in Kassel from 2001 to 2003.

He moved to Škoda in 2004, where he headed the global parts and accessories business. From 2007, Utermarck took charge of the international coordination of the parts launch process and subsequently assumed responsibility for the international coordination of group’s parts logistics network in 2010.
