Volkswagen Group is considering moving production of the Audi A3 to Wolfsburg as a means of better utilising capacity at the plant, according to dpa-AFX.
It is also planning to sell its steering plant in Brunswick and reducing the size of its foundry in Hannover.
Volkswagen would not confirm the reports.
