The smaller version of VW’s Touareg would be marketed from 2008 onwards, Volkswagen said in a statement cited by Reuters.
Europe’s biggest car maker had held a contest to name the new model, the news agency noted. Around 350,000 readers of Auto Bild magazine voted.
