Porsche has recalled 13,500 vehicles globally to check for a fuel leak.

The recall includes Panamera and Cayenne models with a three-litre V6 engine manufactured between March 2011 and May 2012.

A seal, which allows fuel evaporation, will be fixed under the recall, which also involves hybrid models, Bloomberg reported.

The recall includes 9,135 vehicles in China. The Chinese General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has also recalled 51,911 Volkswagen and FAW-Volkswagen vehicles for the same problem.

Additionally, Volkswagen has recalled 185 units of the 2012 Touareg in Germany. These SUVs have the same engine as the Porsche models.
