Porsche sold 14,000 cars worldwide in November, a 9.5% jump over the same month last year.

Sales for the first 11 months of 2013 were up 14.2% at 147,290.

November saw sales of the 911 growing 47.6% to 3,000 while demand for Boxster and Cayman models grew 55% to more than 1,900.

Sales in China were up 27% at 3,700 while the USA recorded its highest ever November sales of 3,966, a 2.6% increase over November 2012.

Porsche sales chief Bernhard Maier said that the imminent launch of the Macan would make 2014 “an exciting year” for the company.
