Porsche has named Thomas Lamperstorfer manager of new 100% subsidiary Porsche Switzerland, which will take over sales and support from AMAG Automobil-und Motoren on 1 June.
Lamperstorferm, who takes up his new post on 1 May, was most recently responsible for works car sales and the vehicle fleet at Porsche HQ in Germany.
Christian Muschal, who had been establishing the Swiss subsidiary since it was founded in August 2007, has given up the post of managing director for health reasons and will now take on special projects in sales and marketing at Porsche in Germany.
The new subsidiary, with head office in Zug, will initially handle 12 dealers.
