Porsche said on Monday it would post new record figures in the current 2005/06 fiscal year (ending 31 July).
In the first ten months of the fiscal year, the automaker increased production, sales and turnover.
From 1 August 2005 to 31 May 2006, Porsche Group’s turnover was up 15.3%, at 5.96bn euros, compared with the same period the previous year. Porsche also said profit has risen again but did not provide figures.
In the first 10 months, the group’s unit sales rose by 14.2% to 79,564 vehicles (previous year: 69,685 units).
At the end of May, sales of the 911 were up 21.4% to 27,896 vehicles. Sales of the Boxster series increased 87.8% to 22,846 vehicles, including 10,883 of the new mid-engined Cayman S coupe, which was only launched worldwide in November 2005.

By GlobalDataCayenne SUV sales dropped 16.3% to 28,469 units. Porsche said it had not offered factory discounts to boost sales.
Production volume in the first 10 months rose 16.8% to 85,160 vehicles. A total of 29,905 Porsche 911s were built (+29.8%), while the figure for the Cayenne was 29,711 units (-12.2%).
Production of the Boxster series rose 63.1% to 25,254 vehicles – including 12,887 units of the new Cayman S.
In the full fiscal year, Porsche expects to sell “substantially more” than 90,000 vehicles up on last year’s 88,379.
“Turnover will also reach a new high, although admittedly certain factors, such as the sale of CTS, must be taken into account. Moreover, a high level of investment in the development of the Panamera sports coupe will have repercussions well beyond the current fiscal year,” it said.
