Porsche has officially opened three new buildings at its Weissach development centre, marking the conclusion of the largest investment project in the centre’s history.

Over US$200m was spent on a new design studio with concept car construction facility, an aero-acoustic wind tunnel and the electronics integration centre that set new standards in forward-looking vehicle development ‘engineered and designed in Weissach’.

Porsche had claimed to be the automaker bunching R&D together in one place: from concept to production car development including test runs on the centre’s own road and off-road circuit.
