New car registrations in Germany rose 4.5% year on year in October to 281,180 units, Reuters reported, citing government data.

The German motor vehicle agency KBA reportedly said registrations fell 1.8% in the first 10 months of the year to 2.7 million cars.

The country’s VDA auto association had already estimated on Friday that registrations had risen 4.5% in October, the news agency noted.
