Magna International unit Magna Steyr is to boost the number of engineers in India from 70 to 200 in 2008/9 to support global R&D operations.

“It creates an important base for engineering and research for both our global and local activities,” Magna Steyr president Guenther Apfalter said in a statement cited by the Reuters news agency.
