GM’s head of development, Bob Lutz has told Automobilwoche magazine that GM has avoided bankruptcy.
He told the magazine that the worst was behind the company and that Opel, specifically, is not threatened by any further cost cutting.
Lutz also said he was not fearful of a strike by Delphi saying that GM is not unprepared, and that it has identified alternative sources for components should a strike occur.
