A decision in principle by General Motors on who it will sell Opel to will be made by the end of the week, according to a German government minister.
German economics minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg told reporters today: “We are hearing that the administrative board of GM will meet at the end of the week and that the board then has to make a statement in principle.”
Dow Jones reported that the administrative board of GM will meet Friday to discuss the Opel/Vauxhall sale.
However, the report added that it remains unclear if the board will make a decision Friday.
