GM has confirmed that it will launch the new Cadillac BLS sedan in Europe next year. GM Europe Chairman Fritz Henderson said in Frankfurt that the BLS will come with right- and left-hand drive systems and in diesel and gas versions.
“This can be a very credible Cadillac for the European market. (It is) edgy, different,” Henderson said Wednesday at the Frankfurt auto show, according to AP.
GM President Carl-Peter Forster said Wednesday that even though Cadillac is an American icon, Europeans will warm to it.
“Don’t underestimate. There are people who like the American way of life, who like America, who like what America stands for. Cadillac is addressing these types of people,” he said, reported AP.
