Ford Motor Co’s tie up with Fiat Spa is confined solely to the development of small cars, Ford Europe head Lewis Booth said, according to AFX.
He said there are currently no plans for any wide-ranging cooperation between the two companies nor would it involve Ford providing any financial assistance to the Italian carmaker, AFX reported.
Fiat and Ford last week signed a letter of intent to cooperate in developing small cars.
