Ford of Europe’s sales in the first-half of 2007 increased 4.6% to 952,500 for market share of 8.9%.


June sales were up 1.2% to 169,000 vehicles in the key 21 markets for a total share of 8.4%.


Car sales for the month totalled 134,365, led by the Focus and Fiesta.


The completely redesigned Mondeo reached its initial markets and sold 8,800 units.


Britain remained the automaker’s biggest market in June, selling 38,875 units, followed by Germany (20,570), Spain (19,700) and Italy (19,670).
