New car registrations in western Europe declined 2.4% to 1.11 million vehicles in October, German automotive industry association VDA said on Monday, according to Reuters.
In the first 10 months of this year, registrations rose by a marginal 0.3% to 12.4 million units, according to VDA.
“After the record figures in September, there was a slight cool-off in the western European car market in October,” the VDA reportedly said in a statement, citing in particular declines in France, Spain and the UK.
