DaimlerChrysler has finalised the sale of 13 German properties no longer required by the manufacturer to a French real-estate group, called ICADE, for proceeds of around EUR300m (US$375m).

The deal includes office buildings, business premises and land reserves, located in the German cities of Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Ahrensdorf and Bad Homburg.

The company said that the transaction would boost operating profit by approximately EUR100m, to be booked during the third and fourth quarters of this year.
