DaimlerChrysler has announced new management appointments for its Services division headquartered in Berlin following the departure of board member Georg Bauer to head BMW’s financial services operations.
As successor to Manfred Gentz, chief financial officer of DaimlerChrysler, Bodo Uebber (45) will leave the Services management board on December 16 and become chairman of the supervisory board. Bodo Uebber will remain responsible for Services on DC’s management board.
The new management board chairman at Services will be Juergen Walker (54), who previously headed DaimlerChrysler Services North America. He reports to Uebber.
Klaus Entenmann (48) and Stephan Engels (42) are newly appointed as management board members. Entenmann, who previously ran Chrysler Financial in North America, will succeed Walker and assume overall responsibility for the region America. Engels’ previous responsibility for controlling, finance and risk management at Services will be extended to include the non-automotive business sector.
