The BMW group has reported yet “another record month” for sales, delivering 170,932 vehicles worldwide in November, up 23% year on year.
Year to date sales also set a record as they rose 10.1% to 1,664,088 units, just short of the full year 2011 tally of 1,668,982.
Sales and marketing chief Ian Robertson said: “This puts our record sales target for 2012 well within reach and we will once again be the number one premium car company worldwide.”
BMW brand sales rose 26.4% last month to 145,452 vehicles and 10.9% to 1,388,274 year to date.
MINI volume was up 6.6% to 25,077 in November and 6.7% to 272,773 so far in 2012.
No Rolls-Royce data was provided but just-auto calculates November sales were 313 units with the YTD total 3,041.
