Daimler is thinking about selling the next generation of A- and B-class Mercedes-Benz models in the US, its chief executive said in Geneva on Tuesday.
Dieter Zetsche told Reuters a final decision had not yet been made and would depend in part on the dollar/euro exchange rate, but that Mercedes was tending to view the US market as good for smaller cars.
The next generation of compact cars would be broader than the current models and could include versions aimed at US customers, he said, according to the report.
