Škoda has released first photographs of its redesigned Superb flagship sedan.
At 4,838mm long and 1,783mm wide the new model is 35mm longer and 18mm wider than its predecessor. It’s 8mm lower (1,461mm) and built on a 2,761mm wheelbase – 42mm shorter.
New features will include adaptive cornering headlamps, a new electronic air conditioning system and automatic parking assist. Nine airbags will be standard.
Skoda will offer six engines – three petrol and three diesel – with outputs from 105bhp to 260bhp along with manual or DSG automatic transmissions.
The Superb will be made in the Kvasiny plant in the Czech Republic and will be launched at the Geneva motor show in March.
