Kia Motors has released the first images of the second generation cee’d. As is the case with the current car, the new model will be the twin of the Hyundai i30.
This C-segment Kia will again be built exclusively at the firm’s plant near Žilina (je’LEE-na) in Slovakia.
The car’s global debut will be at the Geneva motor show in March, with the replacement for the Pro_cee’d (three-door) expected to follow at the Paris show in September. A follow-up to the wagon is also said to be on the way.
Kia Motors Europe says the c’eed will go on sale in LHD European markets from the second quarter, with cars for the UK due in June.
