ECARX, a global mobility tech provider, will deliver its Skyland Pro advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) for integration into Geely’s G-Pilot intelligent driving system.

Geely’s G-Pilot system is set to feature in all future vehicles under the automaker’s Galaxy brand, including the recently launched Galaxy E8 sedan.

The Skyland Pro solution is designed to meet the automotive industry’s demand for high-performance, cost-effective intelligent driving solutions that facilitate quicker market entry for automakers worldwide.

The solution’s design facilitates easy replication and scalability across various brands and models, providing advanced features such as automated parking assistance and highway autopilot.

This technology has already been implemented in the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P, which hit the market in 2023, and the Lynk & Co 07 EM-P, launched in 2024, with combined sales surpassing 160,000 units, ECARX said.

ECARX chairman and CEO Ziyu Shen said: “We are proud to collaborate with Geely on the G-Pilot system, which underscores our commitment to delivering scalable and cost-effective intelligent driving solutions.

“Lynk & Co 08 EM-P received high C-NCAP safety rating, reflecting our commitment to safety – the cornerstone of any intelligent driving system.

“As automotive industry participates seek to differentiate themselves with ADAS and vehicle intelligence in an increasingly competitive market, the Skyland Pro platform is well positioned to capitalise on this demand and drive long-term growth and innovation in the sector.”

Earlier this month, ECARX expanded its market reach by securing an agreement to provide smart digital cockpit solutions to the Volkswagen and Skoda brands for their global vehicle sales.

This partnership entails supplying Volkswagen Group with the complete digital cockpit solutions, including the ECARX Antora 1000 computing platform and ECARX Cloudpeak software architecture.
