Lexus is to show a hybrid for the European premium compact segment at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show.
Lexus says that its LF-Ch reflects the growing demand for cars that are smaller and more fuel and CO2 efficient, but with no compromise in levels of refinement and driving pleasure.
The design incorporates blacked-out B-pillars and concealed rear door handles that ‘create the look of a pillarless coupé’, according to Lexus.
Lexus said clutter on the dashboard/central console is kept to a minimum by using Lexus Remote Touch controls, first seen in the RX450h. There is also an ‘asymmetric dashboard’.
The car can be driven in a fully electric EV mode.
