Nissan reported a record October for sales in Europe with 50,048 units sold, up by 21.9% year on year. Growth was particularly strong in Russia, Nissan’s biggest European market.
Year to date, Nissan has sold 472,117 units in Europe, up 5.4% compared with last year.
Nissan said that Russia performed well in October with 11,967 units sold (+34% year on year) and a year to date increase of 64.1% with 97,588 sales.
Nissan said Qashqai ‘continues its momentum with 13,990 units sold in October and 93,549 year to date’.
X-Trail sales were up by 1,178 units versus last year following the full launch of the new model in September.
Navara continues to occupy the number one spot for the pick-up segment in Europe with 4,184 units whilst Pathfinder sold 1,521 units in October.
