Nissan Europe sold 49,381 vehicles in July, up 10.2% over the same month last year.


In the period from January to July 2005, it increased sales 2% to 336,791 units.


Nissan France increased sales 22% to 4,490 units in July, and has sold sold 30,577 units year to date, up 5.8%.


German volume year to date was down 5% to 32,341 units in Germany and sales in Italy were off 23.6% to 38,263 units.


On the other hands Russian sales were up 83.6% year on year to 25,114 units.

Nissan Europe’s top seller is the UK-built Micra. From January to July 2005, total sales reached 101,657 units, down 3.4% on last year.
