Peugeot will have a new head from 1 January.
As part of the group’s stepped-up expansion, current chief Frédéric Saint-Geours has been appointed adviser to the chairman of the managing board, member of the executive committee, in charge of specific strategic missions, and his place will be taken by purchasing specialist Jean-Philippe Collin as member of the managing board in charge of Automobiles Peugeot, PSA announced on Tuesday.
Jean-Christophe Quemard will replace Collins as head of purchasing and becomes a member of the extended executive committee, PSA added.
Collin has spent most of his career in purchasing, with IBM, Valeo and Thomson before joining Peugeot in July 2004.
