Faurecia reported a 3.4% rise in Q1 sales to €2.908bn, according to Reuters.
Sales were up 31% in North America and 37% in Asia as a result of efforts to expand outside of Europe.
The group’s seating business was down 2.4% to €1.2bn due to lower sales by PSA and Renault. The decline was, however, partially offset by a rise in production of the Audi Q7, BMW 3-series and Toyota Yaris.
Vehicle interiors sales were up 7.3% at constant exchange rates and interior modules were up 1.5%.
