It uses a natural anti-microbial agent (a plant molecule) that is continuously diffused into the cabin to destroy the micro-organisms that spread through the ventilation system, and is claimed to help clean and remove odours from air in the passenger compartment.
The cartridge, available to both OE and aftermarket customers from May, clips on to the cabin air filter, allowing it to be used on all types of vehicles, and has a guaranteed minimum working life of 12 months.
