Ford sold 1,331,300 vehicles in 2019, down 1.4% year on year, in what it calls is "traditional European 20 markets", achieving 7.4% market share.
The automaker said 2019 was its best year for commercial vehicle sales in 25 years and its fifth year as top commercial vehicle brand in the region.
It was also the best year for the Thai built Ranger pickup truck with 52,500 vehicles sold.
"Robust" passenger vehicle sales of 947,333, down 2.3%, resulted in a 6.3% market share, with strong Focus sales increasing by 15.2% over 2018, Ford said.
SUV sales grew year over year with the EcoSport and Kuga recording best sales results since launch, 121,400 and 161,400 units, respectively.
