Fiat has launched the Titano pickup truck for sale in Latin America and Africa.

In Brazil, the new D-segment contender will join the Strada and Toro model lines built locally.

According to carscoops.com, the truck has been launched in Algeria and is also offered as the Peugeot Landtrek. Each market gets a different engine, tailored to local needs.

Autoblog.com said the Algerian engine is a 1.9-litre turbodiesel with six-speed manual gearbox and two or four wheel drive.

The carscoops report said the greenhouse and profile are shared with the Chibese Kaicene F70 and Changan Lantazhe which use the same ladder frame underpinnings.

Like them, the Fiat is available in single and double cab versions, prioritizing cargo area length or interior space respectively.
