Exide Technologies will be launching its latest generation Carbon Boost battery technology for light vehicles when it debuts at this year’s Autopromotec exhibition in Bologna, from 22 to 26 May.

The company says it has developed the next generation of its original equipment solution to deliver extra benefits for car drivers whilst complying with stricter technical WLTP (Worldwide harmonised light vehicle Test Protocol) requirements. The new technology will be introduced in both Exide’s Aftermarket EFB and Premium battery ranges for Light Vehicles, further improving product lifetime and performance.

Exide will present its extensive accessories and support workshops to test, charge, select and reinstall batteries; including the innovative EBT965P battery tester for predictive maintenance which is now available for order. For Commercial Vehicles Exide will focus on the new Endurance+Pro Gel, the best-in-class Vrla Gel battery for extreme cycling, and StrongPro, featuring next-generation HVR and Carbon Boost technologies.
