Automakers sold 25,625 vehicles at home last month, up 27.6% on the 20,081 units in July 2005.
Exports grew 175.8% from 675 units shipped a year ago to 1,862 vehicles last month.
Production of 14,357 vehicles was off 0.5% and was due to reduced home market share for locally-made vehicles.
In July, Venezuelan-built vehicles accounted for 50.4% of the overall sales compared with 62% a year previously.
